• Curtis Cianci

  VMD

  Dr. Curtis Cianci was born and raised near Philadelphia, PA. He first gained interest in veterinary medicine after attending an Explorer's program in junior high school. He received a Bachelor's degree in Biology at Penn State University in 1981. Following this he worked as a research assistant in equine surgery at New Bolton Center, the University of Pennsylvania's large animal hospital. During these years he also attended graduate studies part time at the university of Delaware. He received a Masters Degree in Animal Science in 1985, and that same year was accepted to the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, Class of 1989. Dr. Cianci joined VCA Animal Hospitals in 1998 and has been the Medical Director at Shrewsbury since 2001. He enjoys general practice, surgery and dentistry. He will examine all small pets including birds, reptiles, small mammals and pet pigs. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association, and the Jersey Shore Veterinary Medical Association. For fun, Dr. Cianci enjoys golf and running. He also enjoys traveling, hiking, biking and other outdoor activities. Dr. Cianci is also active at his church, Holy Trinity Lutheran, in Red Bank, NJ. He is presently the Church Council President. Dr. Cianci has also served as Financial Secretary, Endowment Fund Chairperson and a Youth Ministry Leader.

• M. Joy Weinstein

  VMD

  M. Joy Weinstein, VMD, was born and raised in Lakewood, NJ. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. Dr. Weinstein graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in 1983. She completed a Small Animal Surgery residency at Tufts Universitiy/Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in 1988. The residency training was followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in Orthopedic oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Weinstein was an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania from 1990-1994. She is staff surgeon at Shrewsbury Animal Hospital since 1994. Dr. Weinstein has served as the President of the Jersey Shore Veterinary Association the past 11 years. She also served as the Chairperson of the Eastern Veterinary Orthopedic Society. Dr. Weinstein's primary interests are in lameness evaluation, veterinary orthopedic surgery and surgical oncology. During her leisure, Dr. Weinstein enjoys singing and pottery.

• Richard Magliula

  DVM

  Dr. Magliula received his Bachelors of Science from Cornell University in 2003. He continued his education at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, earning his DVM in 2007. Dr. Magliula spent his first two years of practice in Anchorage, Alaska, where he spent his free time hiking, climbing, camping, fishing, and kayaking. Dr. Magliula also enjoys traveling, attending music and sporting events, playing racquetball, home-brewing beer and reading. He lives on Staten Island with his cat, Leroy.

• Meredith Orr-Warn

  DVM

  Dr. Meredith Orr was born and raised in Ocean Grove, NJ. She earned her Bachelor's of Science degree in Small Animal Science from Delaware Valley College in 2004. She then earned her DVM degree from Purdue University in 2009.
